General info
Babies and young children
To comply with licensing and health and safety requirements, all audience members, including babies and children, must be in possession of a valid ticket. There is no charge for this ticket for children under the age of 2. Children under the age of 8 MUST be accompanied by an adult, who must accept full responsibility for the children in their care at all times.
There are baby-changing facilities at The Muni in the disabled toilet. The Footlights Café Bar also has highchairs available.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any area of the building. There is a smoking area outside.
Age Limits
In the auditoriums - Any events with an age limit due to the nature of the content of the event will be publicised with the appropriate age limit or cinema classification. If you are unsure about any event and its age limit, please contact the venue. Children under the age of 8 must NEVER be left at any of the venues unattended.
Hiring the venue
The venue also has a very adaptable auditorium that can be set up in theatre style seating (racked or flat), round tables, rows or 'in the round'. There are also number of meeting rooms and flexible spaces (including the unique Circle Gallery), which can be hired at very competitive prices in accordance with the programming policy of the venue. Weddings
The Muni is available for wedding parties at a very competitive rate. Experienced and friendly staff will fully assist you in ensuring your day runs smoothly.
The Muni has a multifunctional auditorium, which can easily be set up with a top table and round tables for guests. The lay out can then change to accommodate a dance floor for an evening function, for a disco, twmpath /ceilidh or line dancing - or whatever you fancy! There is also a stage available if you wanted to hire a band for your big day.
Recordings and cameras
Public cameras and recording equipment must not be used during any performance.
Mobile Phones
Please switch all mobile phones and pagers off during any performance.
Latecomers
Latecomers will be allowed into the auditorium or performance space at a suitable break in the performance, at the duty manager's discretion.
Entry to the Venue
Entry in to the venue is at the staff's discretion and we reserve the right to refuse entry.
Brochures are correct at time of going to print. RCT Cultural Services reserve the right to alter any details without notice, due to any unforeseen circumstances.
